So, I’m usually a bit late to my ochem lab in the mornings because I can avoid the worst of traffic in exchange for being fifteen minutes late. My professor allowed it for a few weeks but came up to me last week to say that she’s going to have to start docking points now that it’s no longer the beginning of the semester and she’ll have to be more strict.

TODAY I ACTUALLY OVERSLEPT!

FYI I WENT TO BED AT 7PM LAST NIGHT…

So I slept fourteen hours and ignored my alarm clock now? I’m considering just… not going. I’ve actually started feeling a bit sick since Monday so I’m wondering if I might as well hop over to get my annual check up at the doctor’s office and grab a note at the same time, or just go right now and be an hour and a half late to a lab that is already three and a half hours long anyway. She actually mentioned last week that coming into lab today was going to be optional because she has to go early today, but people grumbled and she allowed us to come in.

Conundrum. However, if I finish my lab today I don’t have to go in next Monday either. I have my gas chromatography column run so I just need to pop in some samples into the machine and keep the giant scrolls of paper that come out. Then do some math.

Gonna pack my lunch for today and think about this, I guess.
