I eyeroll everytime time someone bitches about whether it’s “fair” that a doll is off-topic at DoA. That doesn’t prevent you from buying the doll if you like it. If you’re really that bothered, START AND PAY FOR YOUR OWN FUCKING FORUM. I don’t always agree with what’s on/off topic, but FFS it is not some grave social injustice if a doll falls outside the subjective criteria.

Ever tried to get a doll second-hand that’s off-topic on DoA?
Especially when it’s limited or sold out?

DoA is still the main forum for the whole hobby which means it’s the biggest source and biggest marketplace. What’s off-topic on DoA prevents a) people from buying a doll and b) even if they would sell it afterwards, they won’t do it there.
It’s just stupid that the big BJD forum says no to a lot of BJDs that look pretty much like BJDs that are already on-topic.

All the awards. Even if people did have the ability to start their own forum it’d be very unlikely to achieve DoA’s popularity.
