I don’t want naked dolls all over my Tumblr because my Tumblr isn’t marked for mature, so here is a photo that shows how gigantic Cass’ head is compared to Kon’s. Tim in TAS was actually modified so they could fit some of Jason in there. He’s supposed to be like, a mixture of the two. That’s why he’s bouncy and snarky. But I get what you mean. Bubbly Tim has been showing up in fandom way too much lately.
Well, that makes a lot of sense then! Thanks for telling me that. I guess that is also a contributing factor to why Tim in B:TAS was so young too. And yes, this conversation came up namely because even my sister said, “How can people get Tim so… totally off?” while glancing over my shoulder at stuff. Bubbly Tim seems fairly common place nowadays. I think it’s like telephone though— I noticed this a lot with the TF2 fandom. As a specific example, I knew a specific pair of gals who were really into TF2 and drew fanart for it all the time— but they had never played the game. Their representations of Spy and Scout came exactly from other people’s depictions in fandom, and thus seemed very foreign to those who did play the game.
I feel that since there are so many comics to read to get a general feel of a character, it’s daunting to a lot of people who want to read them. So they may read a few issues based off of that character and see it from the point of view they’ve developed about it according to what they already know from fandom/other select issues. It’s as if, say, a person decides to read comics because someone tells them that Cassandra Cain is a super sexy, Navajo-speaking, awesome evil villain who is batshit insane and the person says, “Hey, I like those kind of villains!” Then the only thing they read is Willingham’s issues where she’s seductively falling on top of Tim being crazy and ridiculous, and the reader thinks, “So this is her!” Then after that, Cass’s appearences dwindle anyway, and some people don’t care at all for backissues— so that becomes their headcanon for Cass. Even though it couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Eventually, I realized Tim was really awesome and I started to embrace the OT3 better and other things like that— haha! AND NOW I DRAW TIM MORE THAN KON.

Ack, looks like it didn’t post properly. I do not! I haven’t tried making them in Sims 3. They were cute little buggers in Sims 2, though. At first I tried to make them more true to the originals, but then I wanted to make them fabulous.

I had a lot more too— Dick was married to Babs, for instance. There was also Stephanie. Those were created for a Victorian AU just for fun, where the Wayne family rented out spare rooms on their property to interesting travelers. Dick and Babs were already engaged and watching over Tim, Jason, Steph, and Cass. Bart and Thad were suspicious travelers, and Kon was an alien/scientist haha! Then I discovered the Tombstone hack and made a bunch of random babies.

I really need to read this issue. I’ve read the one with them in Gotham, and on the cruise, but I’ve only seen bits and peices of the issue where Cass visits Kon is Smallville.
Such a ridic cute issue! He builds her a castle in the clouds with TTK and she smiles while he fumbles over his words because he’s so nervous around her. :,D And then they agree to be friends! Ahhh this pairing. <3 <3 <3
