I drew this last week on a particularly messy hair day. #gpoy #comic #ochem (Taken with Instagram at California State University, Fullerton)

Test in four hourrrs! Hauling butt right now. This list of solvents, reagants, and catalysts is killing me. The page on the right are notes on each of them. (Taken with Instagram at West Irvine Neighborhood)

AWWW HELLLL NAWWWWWWWWW
I only understand half of this chart so far, but that’s okay. We’re not doing cyclos and carbonyls for reactions until next semester. I am just trying my best to learn and remember all the reagants and catalysts right now.

I started doing Hourly Comic Day but my students started asking me questions when I was at work so I never finished that either.

This is what ochem is like for me and my friends. We eat, do crafts, and I often paint my nails. Our class average for our last test was 45%, no curve. :(

AND SO IT BEGINS! Hi Tumblr, long time now see. I realize I’ve been gone for two years. Anyway, so for the past decade I’ve been on the internet I’ve always kind of thrown my art here and there into separate little pockets depending on what niche I’m trying to appeal to. This is me trying not to do that— this is me posting anything I’ve drawn regardless of niche without filters and locked posts. Though obviously, I won’t be posting anything gross and illegal hue hue hue hue.
However, it’ll probably be a lot of things that I’m embarrassed for having drawn. So I hope you enjoy!
This first picture was done during ochem on the first day of the storms that tore through California two weeks ago. I stepped into a puddle in my suede boots and spent the majority of ochem moving between the classroom and the bathroom to swap out the wads of paper towel I had pushed into the toe area to coax the water out. The girl on the right is my carpool buddy who knew to wear waterproof shoes when it storms. The other drawings are my current pets.
Let’s get to know each other, tumblr! Let’s be friends.
PS: I don’t have a scanner, and as of two years ago I no longer have a tablet— so most of my drawings I’m posting are just pictures I took with my camera or phone so sometimes the focus or tones or angles (or ALL) will be totally off. I apologize.
